Don’t forget your cardio!

HIIT workouts are the rage these days. They yield fast results, mixing cardio and strength together. I like them because they’re intense and time flies when you’re doing them! Here’s what we did in cross training last week. Goal: Go through everything 2x in 60 minutes.

A.

  1. cycle – 2 mi.
  2. 20 shoulder press
  3. 20 upward row
  4. 20 fly

B.

  1. deadmill – 200 steps
  2. 20 plank jacks
  3. 20 renegade row
  4. 20 push ups

C.

  1. jump rope – 200x
  2. 20 walking plank
  3. 20 lunges
  4. 20 launch push ups

D.

  1. 500 m row
  2. 20 burpees
  3. 1 min plank hold
  4. 20 sit ups

E.

  1. flight of stairs – 3x
  2. 20 goblet squats
  3. 20 KB swings
  4. 20 squat to upward row
