Burn (#MondayMotivation)

Last night’s burn was a good one. Summer’s coming and I’ve had requests for more core. We tried some new core exercises that I’ll have to add to the list. It’s always good to keep our muscles guessing!

  1. Warm up
  2. Legs – 4 count squats | 2 count squats | single squats
  3. Legs – stationary lunges on step | lunge holds | curtsy lunges
  4. Core – Russian twist fans | leg lifts with option arm weight hold
  5. Legs – squat side steps | squats
  6. Core – crunch + leg split | bicycle crunches | elevated diamond crunches
  7. Shoulders – upward rows | shoulder press | front lateral lifts
  8. Core – plank variations (front plank | side plank)
  9. Chest – chest press | reverse fly
  10. Biceps – bicep curls | hammer curls | bicep bent rows
  11. Triceps – single tricep extensions | tricep dips on step | double arm extensions
  12. Core – bird dogs | spider plank
  13. Hamstrings – deadlifts + leg back lifts
  14. 1 minute plank hold && cool down
