Yesterday’s cross training incorporated TRX instead of kick boxing to switch things up. Also, when was the last time you ran lines? (Sprints to foul, middle, other foul and to the end of a basketball court). I’m thinking my high school tennis coach made us do it, i.e. forever ago. I love to hate them like anyone else, but they’re a good cardio piece to add in every so often. Every time groups rotated in this workout, they did 2 sets of lines. Here’s the workout. Bootcamp and TRX rotated after 5 minutes. We didn’t get through everything in 50 minutes- I’d recommend 60 minutes to get through everything.
Bootcamp: 10 bicep curls, 10 v-sit arnolds, 15 wall balls
TRX: 15 high rows, 15 chest press, 15 (ea.) side lunges
Group core: high knees/plank
Bootcamp: 10 spider plank, 10 combat burpees, 30 mountain climbers
TRX: 15 rows, 15 tricep extensions, 15 (ea.) pistols
Group core: russian twist, weighted leg lifts
Bootcamp: 10 hammer curls, 10 dead rows, 10 bridge reverse fly
TRX: 5 push ups, 10 crunches, 15 oblique crunches
Group core: planks
Happy Friday everyone!!
