Cross training {#28bdayremix}

What better way to kick off my 28th year than with a good workout? My class were troopers this morning and probably never want to see the number 28 again. Here’s a fun & energetic mix to work through…

After warm up, the class was split into 2 groups. Groups rotate through each bootcamp and TRX station once per round. Rotations were 5-6 minutes each.

ROUND 1

Bootcamp: 28 bar toe/knee ups | 28 weighted squats | 28 diamond sit ups | 28 frog hops

TRX: 28 high rows | 28 squat pulses | 28 chest press | 28 squat jumps

–3 min. Tabata Core as group: plank, high knees {20 sec on, 10 sec rest}

ROUND 2

Bootcamp: 28 wall balls | 28 med ball throws | 28 bosu climbers | 28 push ups

TRX: 7 pikes | 7 push ups | 28 obliques | 28 mountain climbers

–3 min. Tabata Core as group: russian twist, v-ups {20 sec on, 10 sec rest}

ROUND 3

Bootcamp: 28 thrusters | 28 step tri dips | 28 walking planks | 28 weighted jabs

TRX: 28 bicep curls | 28 side lunges | 28 back rows

–3 min. Tabata Core as group: scissor kicks, reverse crunches {20 sec on, 10 sec rest}
